About Us

Professional, Compassionate Care

Psychological Input for Family & Children's Matters

Psycho-legal services provide psychological input in matters involving children, parenting and family relationships. Our approach is child-centred, objective and focused on the best interests of the child.

This specialised service is offered by Row-Anne Wright, Clinical Psychologist at RnR Psychology, helping families navigate important decisions with care, objectivity and understanding - whether that's during a divorce or separation, a care and contact (custody) dispute, or another matter affecting a child's wellbeing.

We currently offer four specialised psycho-legal services: parental capacity assessments, drawing up parenting plans, voice of the child assessments, and adoption-related psychological assessments. Our first three services are requested by families directly, as well as by attorneys, mediators and the Family Advocate in matters relating to care and contact and co-parenting arrangements. Adoption-related assessments are by referral from designated social workers.

Practice Number: 1170910
For referring attorneys and other professionals: Our psycho-legal practice is currently limited to the four services listed above - parental capacity assessments, parenting plans, voice of the child assessments, and adoption-related psychological assessments. We do not currently offer broader forensic custody evaluations or expert testimony outside of these reports. If you're unsure whether our services are the right fit for a matter, please get in touch and we'll gladly advise.
Please note: Psycho-legal assessments required for formal Children's Court proceedings may require a court order or appropriate legal authority before the assessment can be undertaken.
